How does a home have so much mold?

This home in Jonesborough, TN was left vacant for some time when the bank repossessed the house.

Before it could be sold it needed a lot of work. There were some leaking pipes that were never shut off which raised the humidity in the home and caused the mold to grow.

Before the house could sell the mold had to be removed from the walls. In fact, the walls had to be removed to get rid of the mold. The main floor had to have all the walls and ceilings removed down to the studs the mold spores cleaned from the air.

Once it was all finished the bank was able to get it sold.
