Electrical Fire Damaged Rafters

Telford, TN Attic Fire

An electrical fire started in the rafters of this home. The insulation caught fire an burned slowly which finally made it's way through the ceiling and into the home. By the time the smoke detectors went off most of the ceiling was damaged and need a good cleaning and replacement.

Cleaning up a fire may seem like we are just replacing as much as we can with new. However, a lot of the wood just needed some cleaning and they were able to be saved. The smoke smell in the wood took more time but we were able to get the smell our with some deodorization techniques.
